Bet on the NFL: Strategies to Earn Money or Win the Pool of your Office

I have lived in Las Vegas for a long time and have seen people from all walks of life gamble, win and lose. Most people walk out of here as losers. Those who have experienced the same thing know that what is shown in the movie – The Hang Over, could be really happy. Well, without Mike Tyson.

Anyway, a lot of people lose a lot of money here. But at the same time, the casino does not keep all the winnings. Every wonder why?

Sportsbooks have a lot to do with it. Long odds can make or break a Casino’s fiscal quarter. In fact, I’ve seen some places have system-wide failures, shutting down phones and ATMs. This has only happened a few times, but it has happened. Why? Big winners making big profits, and this has happened with NFL games.

Now many of you watch football or play in an office pool. Nothing is much better than crushing those in your group, earning the occasional few bucks. Professional gamblers know the odds and place bets on at least three games per week. Learn from them.

1. Remember how the Giants came from behind the win, led by an incredible catch from Plaxico Burgess? This cost Las Vegas millions.

2. The past two years, the Detroit Lions have lost almost every game. Why not consider the line and capitalize on it? If your office uses a point system, place the most points to lose. Win losers.

3. Don’t be afraid to take your office group to the next level. Have the winner place a bet in the casino. If that winner wins, divide the winnings among the group. If not, you really didn’t lose much of anything.

4. Have fun with it. If you have a gambling addiction, ignore all of the above and never place a bet. Too many people have come here and lost everything.

From personal experience, know when to stop. Fortunately, I have been able to break out of a rut many times and have been able to build a successful retirement and cover many losses by learning many difficult lessons in life.
