Online real estate agents help sell properties fast

The latest figures from the UK property market show that online estate agent sales have increased this summer, including the traditionally quiet month of August.

People searching for homes through online real estate agents also increased in line with the increase in the number of people signing up with online real estate agents.

Other reports from the National Association of Realtors (NAEA) also revealed that many of these sales were from three to four-bedroom properties.

This is all encouraging news, knowing that there are still serious sellers and buyers out there. However, the pressure on first-time buyers is increasing further and the percentage of sales shows a decline in this sector. The good news is that the Government is announcing different schemes for first-time buyers, acknowledging the fact that one of the main problems with accessing the property ladder is the larger deposit required.

Online estate agents know that the market needs first-time buyers to keep the industry moving and they welcome the governments budget decision. Do research on the internet to find out more about these schemes as there may be one that can help you if this is your first time shopping.

Always use an agent who belongs to the appropriate repair schemes and complies with all government legislation regarding the sale of a property. Only these online estate agents have links to the major property portals, ensuring that properties can be viewed across the UK.

There is a growing number of websites that offer a solution to sell your property yourself. Most of them charge a flat fee to pay upfront for “marketing.” What they mean by ‘marketing’ generally constitutes a ‘for sale’ board outside your home and allowing access to your website which displays guidelines through the selling process. Although this can be considerably cheaper in monetary terms, it certainly won’t help you if you need to sell a property quickly.

The auto-sell method also prevents you from advertising your property on all the major websites such as Zoopla, Rightmove, etc. and this is where everyone is looking to sell property fast.

Using this self-selling method could take much longer, as it is similar to selling in the days before the real estate agent online. Before the days of the internet, the traditional high street agent only had the storefront and local newspapers to advertise the property and maybe a real estate magazine. This worked well enough for buying, selling, and renting properties in those days, but now that nearly every household has Internet access, the self-selling method won’t sell properties quickly.

Once you’ve made the decision to sell your property, you don’t want the sale to drag on after you’ve been made and accepted an offer. Using an online real estate agent will sell your property quickly and efficiently.

If your budget to sell or buy a property is limited, it is advisable to use a reputable online real estate agent as the old saying goes: “you get what you pay for”. There are many different packages on offer so it is worth spending some time doing some research on the internet as there is bound to be a package to suit your budget and you can sell your property fast.
