A wide variety of herbs and spices can help your body burn fat, but since you take them in such small amounts, you wouldn’t even think they could help in the slightest. Herbs and spices can be used to make boring meals much tastier, more tempting, and therefore easier to stick with a certain eating pattern. Cinnamon is one of the most popular spices to help burn fat, and here’s why.

Cinnamon can help the body increase your metabolism well beyond its normal levels, allowing you to burn fat much more easily, especially stored fat that your body would use up on a rainy day. Cinnamon can also help control appetite and food cravings by lowering blood sugar levels.

Cinnamon can be used in many different foods, pumpkin being one of the weird things I use it on!

Sprinkle some yogurt and accompany it with a cinnamon-coated banana. Delicious healthy snack that will help you burn fat.

Have a cup of tea, green tea or coffee and sprinkle some cinnamon on it and stir it. Great way to include more fat burning foods in your day.

I have used it on many different vegetables, fruits and meats. I think the only way to get a good fix once in a while is to put the cinnamon packet out in plain sight and use it on lots of different foods until you find something that really appeals to you.
