Alexandra Stone, better known as Alex to her friends and family, is like any fourteen-year-old girl with worries about what to do on a Friday night and babysitting responsibilities. The life Alex knows so well changes the day she recites a chant with her best friend, Sarah, after a small pink rock hits her on the head. The song is from the book by her English teacher, Mr. Ritchie, and before she knows it, Alex and Sarah are transported into a mystical world with her dog, Butch, and her squirrel friend, Pops.

“Brilliantine I cast, I will surely cross, to your kingdom it will lead, the rock that I own, evil wandering, the Queen I am for you.”

Their life in Greendale Park has faded and two moons illuminate them in the starless night. Of trees and animals that talk, they are involved in a mystical adventure in which Alex is considered the “enchanted” of the royal lineage and must agree with “Dread”. The decisions made along the way will test their friendship, relying on their instinct that “things are not always what they seem” and the resistance of the family.

Lea Schizas intertwines two parallel worlds with believable ease. The power of “The Rock of Realm” will leave you wanting more. You’ll walk Alex and Sarah and their counterparts early on. Cheers to Lea Schizas for a well-crafted flight through the fantasy world. For more information on Ms. Schizas, visit her at: http://leaschizaseditor.com
