Looking for the list of the best beaches in Miami? You are not the only one; everyone looks for the best beaches in Miami. Taking into account the demand and my personal experience, I have put together the list of the best beaches in Miami to help Miami vacationers plan their trip. Since I am crazy about Miami, I visit Miami often and have been to almost every beach in Miami. Among all the coasts and ocean parks in Miami, I have found the best beaches in Miami.

South Beach, Miami

South Beach Miami is known as the best beach for people watching. South Beach is packed with people as it parallels the world famous Ocean Drive. Ocean Drive is famous for its excellent restaurants and shops. South Beach is full of people jogging along the trail, surfing, and swimming in the ocean water. This white sand shore is right in front of the best nightclubs in Miami.

Haulover Beach

Haulover Beach is recognized as the best nude beach in Miami. Haulover Beach offers two sections: the far north and the far south. The north end of the beach is designated a nude beach area where you can avoid tan lines by basking in the nude. Aside from the far north, the beach is generally friendly to people, where you can enjoy swimming, surfing, and other water activities. Virginia Key Beach

Virginia Key Beach is known as the best historic beach in Miami. Virginia Key Shore offers two entrances north and south. The north end of the beach is good for people looking for solitude, away from the crowds. The southern entrance to the beach takes you into the historic section of Miami. Yes, in the past the beach used to be the only beach for people “of color”. It was sometimes closed in 1982 and reopened in 2008. The beach is adjacent to the Rickenbacker Causeway, near the Miami Seaquarium.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park

The southern tip of Key Biscayne is known as Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is one of Miami’s best beaches for scenery. The famous Cape Florida Lighthouse adds to the beauty of the coastline. You can also enjoy the guided tour of the lighthouse. Not only that, Bill Baggs Cape Florida Beach is well known for boardwalk fishing. The beach is always packed with tourists and Miami locals who enjoy water activities, especially fishing. The southern end of the park is famous for breakwater fishing throughout the southeastern region.

Crandon Park Beach

Crandon Park is the best family beach in Miami. Crandon Park offers nearly 2 miles of white sand beach along with cabanas for relaxation. During the weekends, the coast is full of local families and tourists who get involved in fun water activities. Cabin rentals are a good option to relax after a long sunbath on the beach. The Beach Amusement Park and Crandon Gardens have been a center of attraction.
