Jitterbug Phone Reviews – Is There A Social Stigma To Simple Cell Phones?

I recently came across an article online saying that one of the problems with a simple cell phone is that it can carry a social stigma and therefore be shunned by users who are capable of working with a more complex device. This struck me as something strange. Because? Because simplicity is what we desire as humans. It seems that many people like to keep things simple, but when it comes to technology, the more complex the better. But is this really true? really enjoy the complexity brought by our mobile phones and other devices? Do we really find out that all the features actually benefit our lives when we come back to the site and think about it? Is the complexity really benefiting us, or are we simply trying to “consume” others to maintain a higher perceived status? Similar to the commercial I just saw tonight, which describes “Phone Envy” where one person sees another person who has a nicer cell phone and develops the disease. Something to think about, and I would say that simplicity really trumps complexity.

Specifically, I’ve done a lot of research and analysis lately regarding the Jitterbug phone and I’ve been reminded that sometimes simplicity is of much greater value than complexity. Truly, people will in some cases pay more for a simple device than for a complex device. This is the case with the Jitterbug J Phone. It’s a wonderfully simple cell phone, acting more like a home phone than a cell phone. And there’s a market, mainly people over the age of 55, who really thrive on this simplicity when it comes to technology. It’s not a social thing, that I know of, but it’s a practical thing. They keep their devices simple and easy to understand so you don’t you have to worry about them and can focus on other things in life.

I truly believe that simplicity will, at some point soon, be emphasized in technology more than complexity. And I think we’ll find that we really enjoy it.
